What does “UK Used” actually mean?
The machine was used in the UK or Europe, usually by a business that replaced its fleet on a three-year cycle, and was then exported. It is not new, and we never pretend otherwise. What matters is the grade and the test results, both of which are on every product page.
Chromebook or Windows laptop — which do I need?
Choose a Chromebook if the work is browser-based: Google Classroom, Docs, research, email, online exams and CBT, video calls. They boot in seconds, last all day and cost far less. Choose a Windows laptop if you need installed software: full Microsoft Office, accounting packages, AutoCAD, Photoshop, programming tools or anything your school or office specifically requires.
Can a Chromebook run Microsoft Office?
The web versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint work fine, as does the Android Office app. The full desktop version of Office does not install on Chrome OS. If your course or job demands the desktop version, buy a Windows laptop.
Do the laptops come with Windows installed?
Yes. Every Windows machine ships with a clean, activated installation and current updates.
Can I upgrade the RAM or storage later?
On most of our business laptops, yes — and we will do it for you. Chromebooks and the MacBook Air have their memory soldered to the board, so buy the specification you need up front.
Payment and delivery
How do I pay?
Bank transfer. Our account details appear at checkout and in your order email. Use your order number as the reference.
Can I pay on delivery?
Not at the moment. For high-value items we ask for the transfer first, or you can pay in person at the shop and take the machine with you.
How long until I get it?
Same day in Port Harcourt if we confirm your payment before 2pm. Next working day elsewhere in Rivers State. Two to four working days for the rest of Nigeria.
Can I see the laptop before I pay?
Yes, and we would rather you did. Come to the shop, test it as long as you like, and only pay if you are satisfied.
After you buy
What if it develops a fault?
Three-month warranty on the mainboard and screen. See the Warranty page for the detail.
Do you repair laptops you did not sell?
Yes — screens, keyboards, batteries, charging ports, storage and RAM upgrades. Bring it in for a free diagnosis.
Do you buy old laptops?
We do, and we take trade-ins against a new purchase. Bring the machine in and we will price it on the spot.
